Today, on this 2018 Volkswagen Tiguan, we're going to review and install Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness, part number C56403.This is what a wire harness looks like when it's installed in your vehicle. As you can see, the way it's designed is intended to reside inside a vehicle until you need to pull it out. Also, it has a cap on here to help protect the 4-pole when you're not using it. This is almost a necessity to pull a trailer with. Obviously, you're going to need your lights, but you can't just tap into the wire harness. What will happen is you've overloaded a wire harness on the vehicle, and it could potentially damage your vehicle. more

Trailer Wiring Harness Installation - 2012 Volkswagen Tiguan- Video
Today on our 2012 Volkswagen Tiguan, we're going to be taking a look at and showing you how to install the Tekonsha T1 vehicle wiring harness with floor pull flat trailer connector, part number 118675. When we're ready to hitch up out trailer, we can take our floor flat connector that's going to be stored away in this pocket on the passenger side of our vehicle. We'll lay it across the back of the vehicle, across the weather stripping. You just want to make sure you keep away from the center here so that we don't pinch it into the latch and then just close our hatch down on top of it and plug it into our trailer and then when we're done, we simply open it back up. We'll take our wire and we'll just kind of bunch it up and we can take our weather tight tap and use it to capture our wiring and keep it nicely tucked away. Now it's a nice little package we can put down inside the back here. Reinstall our cover and it's all completely hidden away. That's what our kit's going to consist of. more

Trailer Wiring Harness Installation - 2016 Volkswagen Tiguan- Video
Today on our 2016 Volkswagen Tiguan we're going to be taking a look at and installing the T1 Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4 Pole Flat Trailer Connector, part number 118675. When you're ready to use your trailer plug you just take it out of your side pocket here and lay it over top of our sill plate, making sure to keep it away from the latch part of it. We can close our door down on top of it and plug it into our trailer. When you're all done you'll open it back up and fold it away. You just take your excess, take your weather proof cap, put it around the outside, plug it up and set it in here until we're ready to use it again. It's all completely kept away from the elements.
